Have you ever wanted a big fat burger so bad that it’s all you can think about?
I thought so.
So…..Does that mean that:
A. You are an uncontrollable glutton that needs to get a grip.
OR
B. You are a delicate flower who is suffering from low iron and you should listen to your body and feed it with two all beef patties stat?
?
Should you listen to your food cravings?
So…what do you think?

Sometimes my cravings are both junk and legit. My body is telling me what it needs but I’m used to looking for it in the easiest convenient food to satisfy it. For example, I’ve found that usually if I’m craving a big greasy Five Guys burger, I can eat another protein based meal and feel satisfied (even if it’s still a homemade beef dish). Other times, it turns out what I’m craving is the emotional connection to that food – the comfort feeling from sharing burgers with friends/family and I try calling my brother for a good chat (while snacking on a handful of peanuts). Doesn’t always work, but Five Guys isn’t winning as often these days….
